Mansion in May Fundraiser
The largest and most popular fund-raising project for the Women's Association of Morristown Memorial Hospital is the Mansion in May, a designer showhouse and gardens. Held in an area estate, this event has occurred every two to three years since 1972. The previous 11 showhouses have generated $3.2 million dollars of funds for the hospital. Each showhouse brings nearly 20,000 visitors to the event, where designers, decorative painters, landscape architects, contractors and others create beautifully decorated rooms and lavish gardens. Designers enjoy the camaraderie of showcasing their design skills with their peers while also being a part of an important community fund-raising event.
